Privacy Policy
Last updated October 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information MotoMap ("we", "us") collects when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have. It's part of our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and the account you signed in with.
- Information you add: your profile, photos, bikes, the meets you host and your RSVPs.
- Basic technical information: such as your IP address and browser type, and cookies needed to keep you signed in and the site working.
- Site analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. It doesn't use cookies or store anything on your device, and it doesn't follow you across other websites or build a profile of you. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Maps and address search: maps and address suggestions are provided by Google Maps. When a page shows a map, your browser loads it directly from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. When a host searches for a meet's address, we send what they type to Google from our server. See Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Maps Terms of Service.
- Advertising (signed-out visitors only): when you browse without signing in, we show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and Google receives your IP address and browser information to do so. Once you sign in, no ads are shown and the ad code isn't loaded. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and turn off personalized ads in Google's Ad Settings.
2. How we use it
We use your information only to run the Service: to sign you in, show your profile and meets, handle RSVPs, send the notifications you've asked for, keep the Service safe and improve it.
3. We don't sell your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share your account or profile information with advertisers. Signed-in riders see no ads and get no advertising cookies. Signed-out visitors see Google ads as described above, and maps load from Google Maps for everyone; Google collects that information directly under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and provides the visit counts described above; it handles that information for us, not for its own advertising. We'll only disclose information if the law requires it.
4. What other people can see
MotoMap is a community site, so your rider profile, the meets you host and your name on meets you RSVP to can be seen by others. You can limit this with the privacy settings on your profile, and you can RSVP anonymously.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account exists. When you delete content or your account, it's removed from the Service.
6. Your choices
You can view and edit your information at any time from your profile. You can permanently delete your account from the bottom of that page; this removes your profile, garage, photos, RSVPs and the meets you host, and can't be undone. To get a copy of your information, email [email protected].
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee perfect security.
8. Children
The Service is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above.
